As a Accounting Associate, you will support daily financial operations with a focus on accounts payable, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and cash flow management. The role also involves assisting with month-end and year-end closing to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices and prepare and process supplier payments via bank transfer.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors regarding invoice or payment queries.
• Prepare cash flow forecast for internal fund transfer.
• Perform bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedule monthly basis.
• Prepare and upload payroll via bank transfer.
• Assist in the preparation of journals for the monthly closing of accounts related to exchange different and capitalised of Fixed Assets.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Other duties as and when assigned.

Grant Thornton Vietnam is an independent member firm of Grant Thornton International and was established in 1993. Initially it was a joint venture with Concetti. In 1997, Grant Thornton Vietnam was converted to a 100% foreign owned enterprise, and opened a branch in Ho Chi Minh City.
